January 2020 - I cherish my freedom as a Canadian, and as the federal election approaches, I am particularly proud of our legally guaranteed right to participate in the political process. I have always had an interest in politics as it impacts almost every aspect of our daily lives. This interest led me to volunteering on political campaigns as well as to working as a political staffer in provincial politics.

Our volunteers stepped up for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria
August 2019 - Canada increased its investment in the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria by 15.7%, from $ CAD 804 Million (2017 – 2019) to $ CAD 930.4 Million (2020 – 2022). This is fantastic news as it is an investment that will contribute to 16 million lives saved – and is a testament to Canada’s continued leadership in global health.

An Investment in Impact: Canada Steps Up and Increases its Pledge to the Global Fund
