Results Ottawa Group

August 2019 - The Ottawa group was created in early 1988 and has been at the forefront of some incredible successes since its inception. Volunteers get together on a monthly basis to learn about timely issues and solutions to ending extreme poverty and then collectively plan their advocacy actions. Needless to say that the group is comprised of dedicated, hard-working and passionate individuals. 

Davida Heathcote

July 2019 - Davida joined Results Canada as a short term intern as part of her master’s program at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs in Ottawa.  During her time with Results Canada, she had the chance to meet with her Member of Parliament (MP) for the first time.

June 2019 - Nina has recently joined the Results Ottawa group and is passionate about raising her voice to end extreme poverty. Nina recently met with her Member of Parliament (MP) and we’ve asked her a couple of questions about her experience.

From April 7 to April 13 2019, Canada shines the spotlight on Canadian volunteers from coast to coast, and there’s a lot to celebrate! At Results Canada we’re grateful and fortunate to have many incredible individuals who work tirelessly towards a world without extreme poverty.

Tayler Hernandez

March 2019 - Tayler joined the Results Carleton University Group in early fall 2018 and has proven to be a driving force ever since. In addition to her involvement with Results Canada, Tayler also sits on a Youth Advisory Council to provide perspective to a Working Group that aims to further the Sustainable Development Goal 4 on quality education.

Sherry Moran

February 2019 - "Most of my career was spent working for the Canadian government among the policymakers. As an advocate for Results Canada in my retirement, I am now on the other side of the table. I find the new perspective broader and the goals we are working to achieve more gratifying." As an active member of her community, Sherry is an undeniably dynamic citizen advocate! Sherry is proof that using your voice truly can make a difference.

Results Calgary Group

February 2019 - The Calgary Group is one of the longest standing chapters of Results Canada made up of dynamic and vocal volunteers. Every month they get together and pull their strengths to advocate and raise awareness around issues linked to global poverty. They are passionate about creating a more just world for all!
