December 2022 - Despite all the challenges that have come our way this year as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic and address the multiple crises impacting our world, we have achieved so much that is worth celebrating.

Our advocacy has impact but more is needed to address the malnutrition crisis

December 2021 - On December 7, the N4G Summit kicked-off. Minister Sajjan announced a financial contribution of CAD$195 million. A portion of this funding is part of the $520 million pledged at the launch of the Nutrition for Growth Year of Action a year ago. 

New call for investment to reverse the malnutrition crisis

November 2021 - On November 10, our Executive Director, Chris Dendys, and five other sector leaders met with the new Minister of International Development to present a case for the investments that Canada can make to play its part in reversing the malnutrition crisis.

November 2021 - Results Canada recognized International Day for the Eradication of Poverty on October 17, 2021 with its first-ever #EndPoverty Challenge call-to-action in October to stand in solidarity with those living in extreme poverty. And rise to the Challenge you did – thank you!

Canada must increase Canadian aid in the new federal budget

August 2021 - On August 6, Results Canada made a submission for the Government of Canada's pre-budget consultations in advance of the upcoming 2022-2023 federal budget.

Canada announces additional support for global COVID-19 response

July 2021 - Canada got us one step closer to ending COVID-19 everywhere with an additional donation of 17.7 million vaccine doses to low- and middle-income countries. The same day, the government launched a partnership with UNICEF Canada’s #GiveAVax campaign!
