Take Action Alert: send your MP a holiday card!

By: Results Canada Published: 15/12/2023

Remind your Member of Parliament (MP) of all the important issues we focused on this year. Send an email or written card to their office to wish them a happy holiday, making sure to include all the ways in which you have taken action for a world free from extreme poverty this year and how you look forward to working with them in the New Year. Mention why you care about how Canada shows up in the world. Don’t forget to make it personal. MPs will connect more with information that is grounded in personal experience, so don’t be afraid to share why you care about global issues!

The end of the year marks the perfect time to write to your MP and remind them that you are involved and volunteering for a better world. It’s a great opportunity for you to showcase all that you’ve done, while also signaling that you want to work with them in the New Year.
