For International Development Week this year, we are teaming up with Cooperation Canada, ONE, Bigger Than Our Borders, and CanWaCH to invite all parliamentarians to an important reception on Celebrating Canada's contributions to a fairer, safer, and more sustainable world for all.
We need more Members of Parliament (MPs) and Senators to be aware of Canada’s legacy and role in supporting the rights and wellbeing of children around the world, and here they will have a chance to meet and engage with committed Canadian advocates and civil society organizations who work every day to end extreme poverty around the world.
Email your MP ASAP to let them know about the reception and invite them to attend! Parliamentarians’ schedules book up fast, so try and get this invitation out in the next few days.
