The collective action happening for the International Day for the Eradication of Poverty (IDEP) in October to #ChampionChildrenInEmergencies will help build momentum for impact at the Global Refugee Forum (GRF) by Canadian decision-makers. To support these efforts, Results Canada will be hosting a parliamentary reception in early November to catalyze political support for children and act as a key advocacy moment to educate and inform Members of Parliament and Senators on the challenges, barriers and solutions facing children living in emergency contexts. This reception will center those with lived experience, including youth, while drawing attention to the critical opportunity Canada has to renew investments in access to quality education at the GRF.
We NEED your help, by taking action with your MP and inviting them to attend our reception to #ChampionChildrenInEmergencies we can build the political will necessary to ensure every children, regardless of their circumstances has access to their basic human rights.
