Call-to-action summary:

Investments in nutrition and food aid are a lifesaving priority during humanitarian crises like war, famine, and natural disasters, where disruptions to food and basic services threaten people’s lives, health, and long-term development. The upcoming 2026 budget is a crucial opportunity for Canada to invest in our world, rather than turn its back on those left behind. It’s time for our government to lead with courage, not retreat. Canadian decision-makers need to hear it clearly: people across Canada want to stop the cuts to international aid.

The world has made huge strides against polio, with cases down 99.9% since 1988—but the last stretch is the toughest. That’s where you come in.

The Team End Polio movement challenge by the Global Polio Eradication Initiative (GPEI) is designed to unite communities in Canada – and around the world – through physical activity while driving awareness and action to achieve a polio-free future for all.

From September 24 – October 24, we're partnering with GPEI to invite people to take action and reach a collective 60 million minutes of movement dedicated to ending polio!
