Conférence Women Deliver 2019 : horaire de Résultats Canada

Women Deliver c’est la plus importante conférence de portée mondiale consacrée à la santé et aux droits des femmes et des filles. La conférence aura lieu à Vancouver en Colombie-Britannique, du 3 au 6 juin prochain. RÉSULTATS Canada est enthousiaste à l’idée de faire de nouveaux apprentissages, de réseauter et d’animer des évènements interactifs en marge de la conférence. Nous serons présents lors des évènements suivants :

2 juin de 18 h à 20 h : With the Youth, Through Nutrition, For the World

Centre des congrès de Vancouver, salle 301            

Join the SUN Youth Leaders for Nutrition for a youth-friendly, interactive event to discuss adolescent nutrition around the world. There will be opportunities to hear from panellists, discuss nutrition advocacy with the launch of the Adolescent Nutrition Advocacy Toolkit and make your commitment to change for nutrition via the pledge wall. Join speakers from RESULTS Canada, Grameen Foundation and the ACTION Global Health Advocacy Partnership to learn about cross-sectoral programming that improves the welfare of women and their households and drives demand for better services. Open to conference delegates only. .

June 3, 12:30-2pm Walk in Their Shoes: Gender and the world’s deadliest infectious disease, tuberculosis       

Canada Pavilion – Steamworks 375 Water St. Vancouver              

Grab lunch and join RESULTS Canada, the Interagency Coalition on AIDS and Development and StopTB for an interactive exploration of how gender has impacted the lives of five women affected by tuberculosis. Prizes will be awarded! Free to attend and open to the public. RSVP here.

This interactive session will explore how gender data can be leveraged to inform health transitions’ inequality parameters so that women and girls in low and middle-income countries have an equal opportunity to thrive in a changing health landscape. Open to conference delegates only. .

Tune in to Facebook and follow @Gavi to watch and participate in a live interview with Marie-Ange Saraka-Yao, Managing Director of Resource Mobilization and Private Sector Partnerships at Gavi and Jessica Posner Odede, CEO of Girl Effect. This lively session will be moderated by Chris Dendys, Executive Director of RESULTS Canada, and will discuss how Girl Effect and Gavi work together to increase demand for HPV vaccines in low-income countries.

Chris Dendys, Executive Director of RESULTS Canada, will moderate this concurrent session on sustainable development financing with representatives from Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, the Global Financing Facility. Results Canada and the Centre for Reproductive Rights are hosting a structured, interactive networking session for Canadian and American advocates. Open to conference delegates only.
