Semaine de l’action bénévole – bénévoles mis en valeur
avril 2021 - Les bénévoles de Résultats sont géniaux ! Pour la Semaine nationale de l'action bénévole, nous voulions profiter de l'occasion pour mettre en lumière certains des nombreux bénévoles passionnés et dévoués qui donnent continuellement de leur temps pour plaider en faveur d'un monde libéré de l'extrême pauvreté. Nos bénévoles viennent de tout le Canada, forment des groupes et passent à l'action au sein de leurs communautés. Qu'il s'agisse d'écrire des lettres aux rédacteurs (LTE) ou d'engager des parlementaires, leurs actions collectives créent une puissante force de changement.

Roshelle Filart - récipiendaire du prix bénévole 2020
November 2020 - “Time is one of the most precious commodities that we have in this modern, technologically driven world. I choose to give my time to volunteer with Results because the return on investment of a relatively small amount of time spent learning about global poverty issues, writing letters and meeting with decision-makers can be huge in terms of collective global change.” says Roshelle who has been a volunteer since 2009 and was a co-leader of the Toronto group until 2018.

October 2020 - “When Prime Minister Trudeau recently announced renewed funding for GAVI and GPEI, this was another high point in my time with Results Canada. Just to know that all of us across Canada played a major role in achieving this, is certainly something of which I am very proud.” says Jeanette from the Victoria BC group.

September 2020 - “Advocacy was what drew me to Results - there is no better feeling than ‘selling’ a message that you are passionate about, and ending extreme poverty through better global health and education is truly something to believe in!" Sherry is a driven and dedicated volunteer who continuously uses the various tools in her advocacy toolbox to take significant and effective actions.

August 2020 - "Slowly through small increments, I believe together we can make the world more just for all, regardless of location and socioeconomic status.” As one of two winners of the Most Active New Volunteer Award, Nina shows immense passion and dedication in her efforts to end extreme poverty.

Norm Filiol - récipiendaire du prix bénévole 2020
July 2020 - “We can each help in different ways. Advocacy helps amplifies those efforts. Advocacy is used to build awareness, educate and ultimately influence decision makers. It can move the world.” Norm believes passionately in the power of individuals to make a difference, which he demonstrates by continuously using social media to build the political will to end extreme poverty.

Franck Potwora - récipiendaire du prix bénévole 2020
juin 2020 - «En un mois, je me suis senti au cœur d’une action positive et concrète, dans laquelle je me sentais à ma place, et en réseau.» Franck est un des deux lauréats du prix pour nouveaux bénévoles actifs et il s’intéresse beaucoup à la justice sociale et croit fortement au pouvoir des citoyens. Il s’est joint au groupe de Montréal de Résultats Canada à la fin de 2018.
