Why is it that even today, women are facing discrimination, simply because of their gender? They are denied their basic rights and privileges, something that should be unacceptable in this day and age.
There is much change needed for the world to progress, which is exactly where the Global Financing Facility comes in. The GFF's mission is dedicated to making others' lives easier, and creating the difference that is much needed. Canada funding the organization would help to reach this goal, and overall support a meaningful cause.
This does not only impact us today, it impacts our entire future. Or, in Neil Armstrong's words, this "one small step for man" is "one giant leap for mankind."
