Role title: Provincial Leader
Number of openings: This is a brand new opportunity, we are currently looking for Provincial Leaders in all provinces/territories with a keen interest for British Columbia, Alberta, and Quebec. The openings for the Provincial Leader volunteer positions in Manitoba and Ontario are currently filled. We encourage you to consider joining or creating your own local group as a Group Leader.
Location: Remote - in the province or territory that you would represent
Duration: 12 month engagement
Hours: 5-6 hours per week, at times will be demanding, at other times less so.

N.B. This is a voluntary position for which Results Canada does not provide any compensation.

Under the direction of the Regional Coordinator, each Provincial Leader is responsible for assisting and engaging Results Canada's group leaders and volunteers and supporting expansion efforts in their respective province.


  • Play an active role in their local group as a group volunteer
  • Facilitate advocacy and volunteer activities in their own province by recruiting Group Leaders and overseeing the creation of sustainable local groups
  • Inspire individuals to be part of a movement creating change
  • Engage and encourage volunteers to take action by promoting monthly calls to action and our current campaign
  • Compile monthly reports on actions from groups and submit to Regional Coordinator
  • Collaborate with your Regional Coordinator, with fellow Provincial Leaders across the country, and with Group Leaders and volunteers in your province
  • Lead and take part in webinars, calls, online discussions, and campaigns to take action
  • Collaborate with local liked-minded organizations either to raise funds or promote awareness
  • Lead by example by taking actions (political engagement, media letter-writing, etc.), alongside volunteers and in support of our campaigns


  • Must be of legal age in your province of residence
  • Demonstrated ability to perform independently with a remote team of colleagues and volunteers
  • Ability to influence and willingness to lead by example
  • Tech savvy and comfortable in a digital world
  • Volunteer community experience in Canada
  • Good interpersonal and oral presentation skills – outgoing and problem-solver
  • Self-motivated with an ability to prioritize and take initiative
  • Although not required, proficiency in both English and French is a definite asset; proficiency in French and in English is required for the Quebec Provincial Leader.
  • Available and able to respond in timely manner
  • Respect for diversity and commitment to creating an environment that values inclusiveness and respect
  • A sense of humour and generosity of spirit is essential
