Results Canada is a global movement of passionate everyday people committed to advocating for a world without extreme poverty. We leverage programs and improved policies that give people living in poverty the health, education and opportunity they need to thrive.
Our online network consists of volunteers from all around Canada who communicate via Slack and virtual meetings to support one another in taking action. Online Group Leaders are essential to supporting and leading online volunteers, by motivating them to take action and offering assistance as needed.
Under the direction of your assigned Provincial Leader, each Online Group Leader is responsible for supporting and engaging Results Canada's online volunteers to take action by organizing meetings and providing tools and assistance.
Our power lies in our people – especially our volunteers who are the unsung heroes. Online Group Leaders will benefit from being integral and essential to the mission of Results Canada. In addition to the close relationships with volunteers and staff, you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced global health experts and highly trained advocates who share your deep passion for international development. You will expand your skills, receive a solid foundation of advocacy and community engagement by addressing current issues (ex. health inequity, COVID-19) and gain practical, real-world experience volunteering including with remote teams.
