We normally organize an evening of celebration and recognition for our volunteers during our biennial National Conference. As we have decided to postpone the conference, we decided not to postpone the celebration and to make it a virtual one! Our volunteers are incredible: they take time to speak up against extreme poverty and are the force behind what we do. People were invited to nominate themselves and/or fellow volunteers by filling out a short online form. We’re excited to say that we received many nominations - a testament to the wealth of incredible volunteers we have, thank you!
Of course, it goes without saying: every single one of our volunteer deserves to be recognized, celebrated and thanked for their precious contribution. With that said, this year, we’re happy to put the spotlight on the following individuals who have been selected.
Congratulations to all! Each month we will be featuring one of our winners in our volunteer stories, so we can learn more about them – stay tuned!
