from action to impact:

advocacy to inspire hope and solutions in uncertain times

A big thank you to everyone who attended our National Conference on November 14 and 15 – our first virtual conference ever! You have all helped reignite our conviction that a world free of extreme poverty is possible, even amidst the COVID-19 pandemic.

Even though the conference is over, we want to keep the momentum going! We're happy to share conference resources with you from select sessions: video recordings (on YouTube), photos (screen captures) and leave-behinds (including the music playlist we featured during the breaks!).

Check out the videos below for some highlights from the weekend and visit our Results Canada YouTube channel for more session recordings.

Turning the corner on COVID-19: leave no one behind – Dr. Mohammad Yunus

Examining power & privilege in global health and international development – Dr. Madhukar Pai, Pascasie Minani Passy

ACT A: a global exit strategy for COVID-19 – Dr. Bruce Aylward, Katy Kydd Wright

COVID-19's ripple effect: global impact – Onome Ako, Nicole Hurtubise, Rosemary W. Mburu, Kate O’Brien

Hopefully you will continue to feel inspired and motivated to take action in the weeks and months to come. Here’s what you can do:

  • sign-up to receive news and updates from Results Canada on events, activities and volunteer opportunities
  • check out our join us page to find out how you can get more involved.

If you would please take a minute to answer just five questions about the conference, your answers will provide insight to improve our next virtual event (note: survey closes December 3). Thank you!

To our keynote speakers from all corners of the globe who shared their experience and insight with us, our volunteers – new and veteran – sector partners, friends, family, and all those who attended that want to live in a world where everyone, everywhere is healthy and safe:

thank you for helping make our National Conference such a success!
