I started working at Results in March 2022, and since then I’ve learned so much about advocacy and grown in my role in ways that make me proud to contribute my skills and knowledge while helping build a better world. I now hold a PhD in Conflict Studies from Saint Paul University, and my professional journey has focused on public engagement, advocacy, and research in international development, peacebuilding, reconciliation, and social justice, with a particular focus on community-based approaches and women’s contributions.
One achievement I’m particularly proud of is leading community engagement initiatives that strengthened advocacy around global health and poverty issues. This experience reaffirmed my belief in the power of collective voices to drive meaningful change.
As a Senior Officer for Public Engagement at Results Canada, I support our volunteers and advocates across the country to take action on global health and ending extreme poverty. A typical day involves supporting and engaging with volunteers and working with colleagues to amplify people’s voices to decision-makers.
What I love most about working at Results is being part of a passionate community that believes ordinary people can influence extraordinary change.
Outside of work, I’m a researcher, community organizer, and lifelong learner passionate about peace, gender, and local resilience. I enjoy reading (a little too much), writing, baking, and connecting with people. An interesting fact about me is that I love baking from scratch and experimenting with new recipes.
