[Volunteer Voices] When Progress Reverses, Canada Must Lead

As world leaders gather at the World Economic Forum and Canada approaches International Day of Education on January 24, it is clear that progress for children cannot be taken for granted.

Last week, the US officially pulled out of the World Health Organization – a devastating move that puts millions of lives at risk and threatens the future of global health. Global health experts, including Results' own Ekatha Ann John, warn that this not only threatens progress in fighting infectious diseases like TB, HIV, malaria and more, but pulls us further away from health equity worldwide 🌍⚠️

This Action Kick-Off, we're learning about the Global Financing Facility, a global partnership strengthening health systems worldwide to help end preventable deaths among children, adolescents, and women – and how we can take action to make an impact.
