Canada needs to do more to help children around the world. There is a growing number of children globally that have limited access to food, vaccines, and education; and these problems have only amplified after the pandemic. Since 1991, our country celebrates international development week annually in February to honor Canada\u2019s support in peace and ending poverty worldwide. Yet, we consistently fall short on our official development aid despite being one of the most financially capable countries to provide aid. Canada must be more focused on keeping promises and taking action. As such, our government has to maintain its commitment to increase the international assistance envelope yearly so that financial aid for proper health care, resources, and education can be reached by children everywhere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
