Our volunteers direct their energy and efforts at parliamentarians such as the Prime Minister, Members of Parliament, and senators, as well as global actors like the World Bank, because these leaders have the power to improve policies and make the monetary investments needed to end extreme poverty. We also raise awareness by <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.resultscanada.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/working-with-the-media-writing-an-LTE.pdf\">writing letters to the editor (LTEs)<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.resultscanada.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/working-with-the-media-writing-an-oped.pdf\">op-eds<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.resultscanada.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/social-media-tips.pdf\">using social media<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/cdn.resultscanada.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/fundraising-tips-Results-Canada.pdf\">fundraising<\/a>, and more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oftentimes the first step is putting these issues on the radar \u2013 and keeping the pressure on.
